Kids Birthday

We are having our kids b-day party this weekend. It should be fun, we're having a luau. There will be a slip n slide, a little kids pool, a bouncy thing, sandbox etc etc. Food galore, chicken kabobs, pineapple chicken sandwiches, chips and dip, lots of fruit. My daughter got a Hannah Montana doll and Jackson got a t-ball set. But the biggest present is a trampoline. If my computer holds up I'll post some pics on here. Girls Beach Trip

Just got back from an all girls beach trip. I took my daughter and she had a ball. She played in the sand and collected sea shells with Mimi. My SIL came with us and brought her daughter. We arrived Thursday afternoon and by the time we checked in and got situated we were exausted. So we got something to eat and headed to Wally World to get our energy back. I could not find my camera so I could not take any pics, but if you go to my mom's page she will post the pics she took. Enjoy!

Welcome

Well this my first time ever to blog. Several friends of mine do this on another site and even my mom does this. So saying that, I understand that you basically tell people what is going on or what is up in your life. So here goes. This weekend my family will be going to Calera, Al to visit Day out with Thomas the Tank Engine (which is my son's favorite). We will ride on a train pulled by Thomas. There are activites that they have for the kids to do, like getting face paintings, tattoos of the crew, the bouncy things you see at Pump It Up and food. Afterward we're going to Birmingham to visit my brother and his family. That is what I'm looking forward to. I'll post pictures of the event on Monday
